Using IBM SPSS Modeler with a Repository
Other Deployment Options
While IBM SPSS Collabora tion and Deployment Services offers the most extensive features for
managing enterprise content, a number of other mechanisms for deploying or e xporting streams
are also ava ilable, including:
Export the str eam and model for later u se with IBM® SPSS® Modeler Solution Publisher
Runtime.
Export one or more models in P MML, an XML-based format for enc
oding model inform ation.

on p. 196.
Connecting to the Repository
E To connect to the repository, on the IBM® SPSS® Modeler main menu, click:
Tools > Repository > Options...
E Specify login options as req uired.
Settings are specic to ea ch site or installation. For specic port and other login details, contact
your local system administrator.
Note: A separate license is require d to access an IBM® SPS
Collabor ation and Deployment Services repository. For more information, see

Repository.
The repository installation you want to access. Gen erally, this m atches the name of the
host server where t he repository is insta lled. You can connect to only one repository at a time.
Port.
The port used to host the connection, typically 8080 by default.
Set Credentials.
Leave this box uncheck ed to enable the single sign-on feature, which attempts
to log y ou in using your local computer username and passw ord details. If single sign-on is
not possible, or if you check this box to disable single sign-on (for exam ple, to log in to a n
administrator account), a further screen is displayed for you to enter your credentia ls.
